Our approach to uptime
We keep sites up by fixing causes, not by paying out credits.
No credits, by design
Plenty of hosts advertise 99.9% uptime with a credit scheme. Read the fine print and an hour of downtime is worth a few cents off next month’s bill. We do not offer uptime credits or refunds for downtime, and we say so plainly. The money goes into the things that keep a site up instead.
What keeps a site up here
- Updates tested on a staging copy before they touch the live site, because bad updates cause more outages than servers do
- A firewall and brute force protection in front of every site
- Offsite backups every two hours, kept 30 days, so a restore is minutes away
- Support staffed 24/7 across three time zones
- On Fully Managed plans, uptime monitoring with alerts and a person who acts on them, plus Core Web Vitals monitoring of the pages that earn
If something does go down
Fully Managed customers hear from us first. Basic Managed customers can use the 24/7 live chat or the urgent escalation form, and we treat a site that is down as the top priority in the queue.
What customers say
Great work by Ash would highly recommend very fast response times and great customer service
Brendan and Ash are top-notch guys who not only are experts at Wordpress and site speed, but they also know SEO and how site speed plays into it. Brendan got me going and showed me my site’s CRUX reports and other things and setup an action plan for me based on what my site was deficient in. Then Ash stepped in and made the plan a reality! He also had a bunch of insights and recommendations that I’ve never heard before on the various SEO and webmaster blogs. Best of all, my site’s scores are all now in the 90 percentile and we still have the CDN to enable! Also, there was no downtime or anything broken on the site like I was expecting. Great job guys! I will be referring you to my friends and business partners.
Awesome, quick service that just works. Highly recommended!
